- In this interview, John Robb recalls his history in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He describes his entry and training into the Army Air Forces as well as his journey to Africa. He describes German subs jamming airplane signals to lure them off course. He recalls harrowing bombing missions and dogfights over Africa and Italy. After the war he taught flying, sometimes to French cadets. He recalls meeting his wife as well as his post-war career. He was briefly recalled during the Korean War and flew refueling planes. He was a pilot for Delta Airlines until his retirement.
John Robb was in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
