Saint Mark United Methodist Church was built in 1902, on Peachtree Street in Atlanta, Georgia. The congregation had existed previously under several other names. The church was constructed of granite from Stone Mountain, by local Atlanta architect Willis Franklin Denny. During the late 1940's, early 1950's and again in the 1980's the church underwent a series of renovations and expansions. The church is still in use today. - Local Identifier:
