- View of the birthplace and childhood home of Juliette Gordon Low on the corner of Oglethorpe Avenue and Bull Street, in Savannah Georgia.
The Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace was the childhood home of Juliette Magill Kinzie Gordon. Juliette, called Daisy by her family, married Andrew Low in 1886. In 1912, Juliette founded the American Girl Guides, which became the Girl Scouts of America. The site currently operates as a historic house and museum. - Local Identifier:
