- This recording opens with an introduction of the program by Boyd Lewis. The first segment, which begins at 1:17, is a feature about Atlanta City Councilman John Lewis and his career in the Voter Education Project and in politics. Lewis talks about the history, goals and achievements of the Voter Education Project, the barriers to voting, and his career in politics. The second segment, which begins at 10:24, is a feature about the Tennessee Walking Horse. The third segment, which begins at 14:17, is a segment on Atlanta photojournalist George Mitchell. The program features audio excerpts from Mitchell who talks about his work documenting Ponce De Leon Avenue in Atlanta, and his fear the area is losing its diversity and character. Other voice excerpts are from florist Hugh Krasner; Margaret Lupo, proprietor of Mary Mac's Tea Room, and Kleomenis Kleosis, owner of the Majestic Diner. The program ends with a sign off by Boyd Lewis.
