- This recording opens with an introduction of the program by Boyd Lewis. The first segment, which begins at 1:16, is a feature about the split between factions of Southern Baptists at their convention in 1986. Emory University's Nancy Ammerman is engaged in a study of the culture of the Southern Baptist Convention, and she is interviewed for the program. The conflict is between moderates and conservatives. The second segment, which begins at 10:43, is a feature about a lawsuit brought against the Savannah River nuclear weapons plant by the Georgia Conservancy and other plaintiffs. The program features audio excerpts of Atlanta filmmaker Mark Mori who made a film about the legal and environmental controversy over the plant. The third segment, which begins at 22:19, is a feature about the opening of an exhibition of "Gone With the Wind" memorabilia in Decatur, Georgia. The program features audio excerpts of an interview with DeKalb County NAACP President John Evans, and actress Butterfly McQueen. The program ends with a sign off by Boyd Lewis.
