- This recording opens with an introduction of the program by Boyd Lewis. The first segment, which begins at 1:20, is a feature produced by Beatrice Black of the South Carolina Education Network about a resident of the Hermitage House in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, who believes the house is haunted by the ghost of Alice Flagg. The second segment, which begins at 4:58, is a feature about the Little Five Points neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. The program features audio excerpts from local resident Jeffrey Lauderback; Atlanta food critic Bill Cutler, Atlanta City Councilman Bill Campbell, and unidentified neighborhood residents. The third segment, which begins at 13:03, is a feature about civil rights leader Heman Sweatt. The program features audio excerpts from Mike Joliet of the Lyndon Johnson Presidential Library; Diane Ellison, Clarence Thomas, and Ken Crooks of the National Urban League; Clarence Coleman, formerly of the Atlanta Urban League, and Atlanta University School of Social Work Dean Benjamin Lewis.
