The program includes audio excerpts from Dr. Robert Brisbane of Morehouse College; Marsha Klenhort of Apple Corps, Inc; Vivian Malone Jones, who desegregated the University of Alabama in 1963, and Atlantan Mark Lybrand, who was the only white student in his class at Benjamin E. Mays High School. The second segment, which begins at 14:02, is a rebroadcast of an earlier "Southwind" program about civil rights activist Heman Sweatt. The program includes audio excerpts from Mike Jolliett of the Lyndon Johnson Library; Diane Ellison of the National Urban League, and Clarence Coleman, Ken Crooks, Benjamin Lewis, and Clarence Thomas of the Atlanta Urban League. The program ends with a sign off by Boyd Lewis.
