- This recording opens with an introduction of the program by Boyd Lewis. The first segment, which begins at 1:36, is a feature about Atlanta churches providing sanctuary from refugees fleeing political violence in Central America. The program includes audio excerpts of John Storey of Clifton Presbyterian Church; Luce Moreno of El Salvador; Sister Barbara Herrington, and Carol Cummings of Quaker House. The second feature, which begins at 13:21, is a commentary by Dennis Adlesberger, who protested against the Vietnam War in the 1960s who reacts to an opinion column written in the Atlanta Constitution denigrating anti Vietnam War protestors.
