- This recording opens with singer Johnny Cash's rendition of "Southwind" and an introduction of the program by Boyd Lewis. The first segment, which begins at 1:23, is a feature about the "Springtime Homecoming" at the Museum of Appalachia in Clinton, Tennessee. The program features audio excerpts of folk music performances and interviews of performers. The second feature, which begins 6:06, is a feature about a Ku Klux Klan rally in LaGrange, Georgia. The program features audio interview excerpts from Will Wilkinson of the Ku Klux Klan; Georgia Representative Tyrone Brooks; LaGrange Chief of Police, G.B. Shepherd; Lyn Wells, Director of the National Anti-Klan Network; Reverend Mack Charles Jones of the First Baptist Church in LaGrange; Charles Milligan, President of the Troup County NAACP; and unidentified members of the Ku Klux Klan. The program ends with a sign off by Boyd Lewis.
