- This recording opens with an introduction of the program by Boyd Lewis. The series finale for "Southwind" features previously broadcast segments, including a 1982 program about a Ku Klux Klan march in LaGrange, Georgia; a 1982 program about the first 100 days of Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young's administrations; a 1983 program about the last run of a passenger train from Atlanta to Augusta; a 1984 interview with former president Jimmy Carter; a 1985 program about folk music trio Elise Witt and Small Family Orchestra, and a 1986 program about Vidalia onions. The program ends with a sign off by Boyd Lewis.
