Quentin V. Williamson (1918-1985) founded Q.V. Williamson & Company, Inc., a successful real estate business in Atlanta. He served as president and chairman of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers and served as the president of the Empire Real Estate Board. In 1965, he was elected to Atlanta's Board of Aldermen, making him the first African American elected to that governing body since Reconstruction. - Local Identifier:
