Cornelius Adolphus "C.A." Scott (d. 2000) was the editor, publisher, and general manager of the Atlanta Daily World from 1934 to 1997 and became widely recognized as the "dean of the black press." He also was a civil rights activist and served the Atlanta National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Board of Directors in the 1960s and 1970s. - Local Identifier:
