William W. "Bill" Allison served as the deputy administrator of Economic Opportunity Atlanta from 1968 to 1969 and the organization's executive administrator from 1969 to 1977. Allison was subsequently appointed by President Jimmy Carter to be deputy director of the Community Services Administration. Allison served in that capacity until 1981 when he entered the private sector as Coca-Cola's vice president of external affairs. From 1992 to 1997, Allison served as executive director of Clark Atlanta University's Community Development Corporation. He later became chairman of the Historic South-View Preservation Foundation. - Local Identifier:
