Harmon Perry (1923-2003) was an award-winning photojournalist who began his career with the Atlanta Daily World. In 1968, he became the first black reporter for the Atlanta Journal. He later served as the Atlanta bureau chief for Jet magazine from 1973 to 1981. - Local Identifier:
