Alberta Christine Williams King (1904-1974) was the choir director and organist at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the mother of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the wife of Rev. Martin Luther “Daddy” King, Sr. On June 30, 1974, she was assassinated while sitting at the organ at Ebenezer Baptist Church. - Metadata URL:
