- In the interview, Mr. Penn describes his nuclear family as primarily female and an extemely structured strict homelife. Mr. Penn recalls his first long-term relationship and their social life; the death of his partner due to AIDS; and the enounter with his partner's family at the funeral. Also, he discusses problems he had with depression and his recovery.
William Penn, born in 1941, lived in West Virginia from birth until he moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1968. He worked as a buyer for JC Penny and Belks for over thirty years. He had one long term relationship that lasted eighteen years until his partner died. - Local Identifier:
