The Atlanta Child's Home was founded in 1907 by Mrs. Frank Mason Robinson and was later incorporated in 1915. The home was originally located on Angier Avenue, northeast of downtown Atlanta, Georgia. In 1923, the home moved to a much larger estate on Hightower Road in northwest Atlanta. The organization initially provided facilities for the care of orphaned, underprivileged children and later progressed to an adoption agency. - Local Identifier:
