- Description:
- View of exterior architectural details of Concordia Hall on Mitchell Street in downtown Atlanta, Georgia when it was occupied by the Cox Gardener Furniture Company.
Concordia Hall, located at 201-209 Mitchell Street in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, was built in 1892 and designed by the architectural firm of Bruce & Morgan. The three-story brick structure originally featured high Victorian architectural details. However, alterations early in the 20th century removed many of these elements. Concordia Hall is part of the Hotel Row District that was designated a Landmark by the City of Atlanta in 1991. Hotel Row is significant because its collection of buildings is typical of early 20th century commercial structures in Atlanta's original business district. - Local Identifier:
