- View of a secondary entrance to Atlanta City Hall, formerly the United States Post Office and Custom House, on the block bounded by Marietta Street, Forsyth Street and Fairlie Street in downtown Atlanta, Georgia.
The U.S. Post Office and Custom House was located on the block bounded by Fairlie Street, Marietta Street, Forsyth Street and an alleyway in Atlanta, Georgia. It was built in 1878 under the supervision of Thomas G. Healey and functioned as the city's post office until 1911. It then served as Atlanta City Hall until 1930 when the building was demolished. - Local Identifier:
