- View of the exterior of the former residence of Thomas Jefferson Perkerson, an early settler of DeKalb County (now part of Fulton County), at 552 Perkerson Road near the intersection with Sylvan Road in the southern portion of Fulton County, Georgia (later annexed into the City of Atlanta).
In the early 1830s, Thomas Jefferson Perkerson built a house on present-day Perkerson Road near the intersection of Sylvan Road in southern Fulton County. Perkerson was one of the early settlers of the area (which was initially part of DeKalb County) and the family continued to occupy the house until after the Civil War.
