- Description:
- Heart of Atlanta from Century Building
View of Five Points in downtown Atlanta from the Century Building (later renamed the Atlanta National Bank Building) at the corner of Whitehall Street (later Peachtree Street) and Alabama Street.
The area known as Five Points was once the intersection of two Creek Indian trails, the Pitch Tree and Sandtown Trail. It is presently the site of the intersection of two legs of Peachtree Street, Decatur Street, Edgewood Avenue, and Marietta Street, the historical core of downtown Atlanta, Georgia. - Metadata URL:
