The Treaty of Indian Springs, also known as the Second Treaty of Indian Springs, was an agreement between the federal government and a minority of Creek Indians, led by William McIntosh, which sold the remaining Creek land in Georgia for $200,000. The treaty was signed in Indian Springs, Georgia on February 12, 1825 and ratified by the Senate on March 7, 1825. - Local Identifier:
