The Biltmore Hotel, located at 817 West Peachtree Street, opened in 1924 and was designed by Leonard Schultze of the New York firm of Schultze and Weaver. The building served as a hotel under its own right until the 1960’s at which point it became the Sheraton-Biltmore Hotel, and later as a hotel under private ownership until it was closed in 1981.
