- View of a dance at the gymnasium of the Young Men's Christian Association (Y.M.C.A.) building, located at 145 Luckie Street in Atlanta, Georgia.
Designed by A. Ten Eyck Brown in 1914, the Atlanta Y.M.C.A. was originally two, nine-story independent buildings linked together by a central courtyard. Located at 145 Luckie Street, the two towers were constructed of dark brick with white stone trim. In 1960, a low-rise addition designed by Francis Marion Daves, was built in the courtyard between the two original structures. The building was demolished in 1991. - Local Identifier:
