View of the box office and entrance of the Paramount Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Paramount Theater, located on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, opened December 13, 1920 as the Howard Theater. It was designed by the architectural firm of Hentz, Reid & Adler and decorated by W. E. Browne. In 1929, the name changed to the Paramount Theater.
