In the late 1800s, the Atlanta Streetcar Line was nicknamed the Nine Mile Trolley, based upon a nine-mile circle it made around the city linking surrounding neighborhoods. The streetcar connected residents on Peachtree Street, expanding as far north as the Buckhead community, to areas around Ponce de Leon, and all the way to Memorial Drive. - Metadata URL:
