William McIntosh, Jr. (1778-1825) was a chief of the Lower Creeks in Georgia. He supported the United States in its policy of obtaining more land cessions from Creek territories. He was executed by 200 Upper Creek warriors under the command of Creek chief Menawa for signing the second Treaty of Indian Springs in 1825. - Local Identifier:
