Gordon School for Boys, located at the corner of Edgewood and Ivy Streets, was designed by Gardner, Payne, and Gardner, architects. The building was in the Romanesque style and had a corner turret, which became popular in Atlanta buildings after the construction of the new Kimball House in the mid 1880s. The address of the school later changed to 76 North Forsyth. The school boasted it was "the Only High Standard Private School in the City." - Local Identifier:
