Colonel Robert James Lowry (1840-1919) was the son of William Moore Lowry of Greeneville, Tennessee. He came to Atlanta in 1861 and started the business that would eventually become Lowry National Bank. He was married to Emma Markham Lowry. - Local Identifier:
