Rufus Rogers (1883-1954) was a folk potter from the Rogers clan in Redbone, Upson County, Georgia, near Jugtown. Starling “Rufus” Rogers was the son of potter Starling Adolphus. Rufus Rogers used mainly Albany slip as his glaze. He left a written ledger from 1910-1933. - Local Identifier:
