The Cabinet of the Confederate States existed from February 18, 1861 to May 10, 1865. It was modeled after the Cabinet of the United States. Jefferson Davis served as President and Alexander H. Stephens served as Vice President. Other offices included Secretary of State, Secretary of the Treasury, Secretary of War, Attorney General, Secretary of the Navy, and Postmaster General. - Local Identifier:
