- This house was designed by Hentz and Reid Architects and furnished by W.C. Brown & Co. It was built for my mother and father and me and moved into it sometime in 1912 when I was 5 years old. The original plans (#78) were preserved and are on file at the Atlanta Historical Society in the Hentz and Reid architectural collection. - Willis Menefee Timmons, Jr. 4-18-73."
