William Daniel Grant (1837-1901) was the son of Colonel John T. Grant. He married Sallie Fannie (Reid) Grant in 1866 near West Point, Georgia. With his father, he founded the Fannin, Grant, and Company Railroad. He had two children, John William Grant (1867-1938), who married Annie Martin Inman, and Sarah Frances Grant (1870-1945), who married John Marshall Slaton. - Local Identifier:
