- Jester's Old Mill, Jonesboro Ga - This was the scene of the battle of Jonesboro, Aug. 31 to Sept 31 [sic]. 1864 which caused the evacuation of Atlanta at that time. Major Charles W. Hubner was a member of Gen. Joseph E. Johnston's staff, and retained by Gen. Hood, to whom he delivered the telegram announcing the loss of the Battle of Jonesboro.
