Ernest Woodruff (1863-1944) and Joel Hurt founded the Atlanta and Edgewood Street Railroad, and Woodruff followed Hurt as president of the Trust Company in 1904, a post he held for 18 years, before becoming its Chairman of the Board. He also worked with Asa Candler in taking over The Coca-Cola Company in 1919. - Local Identifier:
