The Paramount Theater, located on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, opened December 13, 1920 as the Howard Theater. It was designed by the architectural firm of Hentz, Reid & Adler and decorated by W. E. Browne. In 1929, the name changed to the Paramount Theater.
