Delivered at Daniels Lutheran Church, November 10, 1878, on the occasion of the deaths of multiple children of Samuel D. and Callie Bungin due to a diphtheria outbreak. Levi (age 8) died on September 24, Lizzie (16 months) died on October 12, John (age 6) died on October 14, and Jimmie (age 3) died on October 28. Sermon on 1 Peter 4:19. 22 pages.
