- Letters from Joseph Ruggles Wilson to James Woodrow: informing Woodrow that he has not received reports, discusses critically the editorial work of [A.A.] Porter [for the Southern Presbyterian newspaper] while mentioning he will be taking management, and family matters, including that Tommy [Woodrow Wilson] has chicken pox, Augusta (Ga.), July 18, 1864; concerning the availability of the [Southern] Presbyterian newspaper and learned from Huse that the paper mill [Bath Paper Mill Company] will not be in complete running until September 15 or October 1, mentions that [J.A.] Ansley, purchasing stock in the mill, would like to be the financial agent for the newspaper and has a house for Porter, also requests what has become of the minutes, Augusta (Ga.) Aug 10, 1864.
