- Description:
- Manuscript sermon of John N. Waddel, date and place of origin unknown. In this sermon, Waddel takes account of the past year both as a church and a people. He begins by noting that life is like a pilgrimage and as such it is necessary to stop from time to time and take account of the past traveled and look forward to the future. He looks back along three lines: what God has enabled us to do, what privileges and exemptions we have enjoyed, and what improvement and spiritual advancement we have made. Sermon on Matthew 25:19.
