- Description:
- Manusctript sermon of John N. Waddel, date and place of origin unknown. In this sermon Waddel considers the claim that "God is love". He first points out that God is love but at the same time a just God "who will not let the guilty escape." He then admits that God is primarily a God of love and goes on to show this in three ways: by considering our natural constitution as sentient beings, from an examination of God's provenance, and from the plan of redemption. Sermon on 1 John 4:8.
