- Minutes log documenting meetings held between April 23rd, 1833 and April 4, 1834 of the Hopewell presbytery. Various trials and ordination sermons for prospective new members were presented. Reverend William Moderwel was accused of separating from his wife and after a lengthy trial was found guilty and stripped of his ministerial duties. A letter, to be published in the Charleston Observer, on the state of religion in the area, was read.
