- Description:
- Letter written by Moses Waddel addressed to his son John N. Waddel. Moses Waddel lightly admonishes his son for not being more explicit in a letter to a friend causing them to miss each other in their travels. He then relates some troubles a friend has had with two persons enslaved to him, coming to the conclusion that he must sell them, but Waddel does not know what advice to give. Finally, he ends by telling his son how he is doing and the status of his crops. Willington (S.C.), June 12, 1833.
