- This document summarizes the CTS Board’s decisions around Wells’ recommendations, which can be found in full in the CTS Board of Trustees minutes from May 1924. When Wells insisted that in order for CTS to remain viable it either needed to move or merge, the Board of Trustees voted that neither of these recommendations would be acted upon. Instead, they agreed to a new fundraising effort of $500,000 over the next three years. Wells was unsatisfied with this resolution and left the seminary
