- Minutes log documenting meetings held between April 7th, 1842 and August 5th, 1848 of the Hopewell presbytery. Various trials and ordination sermons for prospective new members were presented. A trial was held for Alexander N. Cunningham after being accused of plagiarizing sermons. The problem of supply of destitute churches with ministers was encountered on multiple occasions. The Washington Female Seminary was placed under the care of the presbytery, a report in support of parochial schools was written, and pledges were made to fully endow Oglethorpe University.
