- Description:
- Sermon written by Reverend Henry Newton based on the verse from 2nd Corinthians 5:20. In the first part of this sermon, Newton describes the solemn responsibility of Christian ministers as ambassadors for Christ. He describes how this responsibility was first enacted by Christ upon his disciples and has been carried forward by ministers ever since. In the second part, Newton exhorts his listeners with the terms of God's reconciliation and begs them to take this offering of peace.
