Dr. Dorothy L. Lord took office August 1, 1991. The highest enrollment in the history of the college was reached in Fall 1991. Construction began on a $1.3 million Continuing Education Center. An institutional self-study was completed and was culminated by a Visiting Committee composed of peers from other higher education institutions. Brunswick College attained the highest passing rate of any State institution on the Regents Test for summer quarter 1991. The library doubled its volume of print materials circulation since the installation of the automated library system with the catalog available to patrons through public service terminals.
