The Warrior basketball team faced struggle after struggle
this season, but through their trials, the team grew and
matured. They faced each game with intensity and desire
and despite the outcome of some games, they could al-
ways be admired for the way they played.

We will all miss

Vincent T
Turner.
Mr. Murphy gives the mic
to Coach Turner.
In his several years as a
b-ball coach at South-
east, Vincent Turner has
taught these and many
other young men valu-
able lessons to be used
on and off the court.
These lessons include
the elements of success-
ful b-ball practice, hard
work, ability, and deter-
mination. Although his
last season at Southeast
was not extremely suc-
cessful, Coach Turner
will leave our school
knowing he made a
lasting impression on
most of the boys he
coached. He taught
them to keep their dig-

the toughest games. We
will all miss T very

The Science Club is active in many community and school activities. They hosted the Rent-A-Elf this Christmas

The Academic Team represents Southeast very well at city
and regional academic meets. The students on the team were
very dedicated, a trait that was shown by their willingness to
get up early on Saturday mornings to travel as far as Atlanta
for academic meets. The team beat Southwest in many
games, showing their skill and knowledge.

against pregnant teens in our communities
and schools. Although this club does not
agree with teenage pregnancy, they do help
teens who have gotten in trouble. TAPS also

SOUTHEAST MARCHING BAND
Members of Southeasts Marching Band played an important role in
entertaining students and the faculty and staff at many school func-
tions. They were very encouraging and spirit raising at many a warrior
football game, and made the school proud by ranking in the top per-
cent at the famous Battle of the Bands

PAINTING SMILES on the faces of young stu-
dents, the Art Club gives students an opportunity
to express themselves thru art, while at the same
time giving Southeast a better look. Students can
also pursue their interest in art thru demonstra-
tions given by local artist.
Savalas Coger tries to figure out why the rest of
the band is sitting down instead of playing up a
storm. The rest of the band members just wish he
would get out of the way so they can watch the
game. ;
