- Sept 7, 1997: Atlantans standing around the World Atheletes Monument (erected 1996 in honor of 1996 Olympics held in Atlanta) mourning together and leaving flowers, notes, stuffed animals and posters. There was a book to sign in memory of Princess Diana. The gathering went on for days & book was then sent to British Embassy in Atlanta, thence to England. Jeanne Baldwin & Daughter Shelley Scott Garrett attended and took these pictures.
