- Description:
- Victory Drive (U. S. Highway No.80), built as a memorial to Savannah soldiers of World War I, is said to be the longest palm-lined drive in the world and passes through the principal residential sections of the city. Thousands of azalea bushes, when in bloom during the Spring, make this one of the most beautiful drives in the country.
