- Citizenship test from the Voters' Registration act of 1958 (Act 321, H.B. 718).
Applicants for voter registration were required to read and write a section of the Georgia Constitution as a literacy test. If they could not read or write, they could take an oral examination to demonstrate that they understood "the duties of citizenship under a republican form of government..."
